Man With A Holstered Gun

When I drove into my credit union parking lot, I saw 2 armored cars parked on the drive up window side of the building. As I got out of my car, I watched a short, thin man with a holstered gun come out the door.
A male teller moved to the counter when I entered.
Me: “Was that the armored car guy?”
Male Teller: “I’m not saying anything.”
Me: “He was wearing a gun on a holster.”
Male Teller: “Then that would be him. We wouldn’t let anyone else with a gun in here.”
Me: “Yeah, you have that sign on the door. He doesn’t fit the stereotype of the big guard.”
Male Teller: “No, he doesn’t. Actually, I’ve noticed that most armored car drivers are short and wiry. More important than having a gun, they need to be aware of what’s going on around them.”
A female teller was nearby and listening.
Female Teller: “Yes, they have to pay attention to everything happening around them.”
Male Teller: “And it’s not like they have to be big like a bouncer and carry someone out.”
Me: “I’m glad I brought this up. This was an insightful conversation.”
